Facility
The Department of Land Economics is located on the sixth floor of the General Building at National Cheng-Chi University. The major facility of the department includes:
1 surveying instruments room;
2 cartographic/planning studios;
1 remote sensing laboratory;
1 GIS laboratory, and;
1 cadastral information laboratory.
Department Library
Other than more than ten university libraries, DLE runs her own library featuring:
41 kinds of Chinese books with more than 6500 volumes;
13 kinds of theses with more than 1,400 volumes;
13 kinds of foreign language books with more than 1000 volumes;
60 plus journals; and;
a great variety of governmental publications, statistical reports, and census data reports.
In addition, the department also owns various kinds of cutting-edge training facility, including dozen types of surveying and cartographic instruments totaling over one hundred pieces, drones, global positioning systems (GPS), and a 720-degree camera.
